“In the depths of darkness, beauty always finds a way to bloom.” – JB Lexington

Forever Eve is JB Lexington’s debut romance novel that will sweep you completely off your feet. Izabel Carmichael is a straight-laced, follow the rules, stick to the plan kind of girl. She has everything she ever dreamt of; a handsome, loving, successful husband, a beautiful home and the career she wanted. However, what Izabel projects to the world is so different to the truth that lies festering at home.

We find Izabel struggling to cope with her husband’s ever increasing anger management issues. She can’t tell anyone and is beginning to crumble when her best friend Natalie, the antithesis of Izabel, gifts her with a visit to a Past Life Regression Therapist. It is here that Izabel is thrown into a past world, meeting Charlie and Eve. The burning chemistry between this couple is hot and heavy and leaves Izabel (and the reader) desperate for more.

On returning to the present, a chance meeting with a stranger has Izabel’s life unravelling; she must face her biggest fears and question where she wants her life to go.

For some of you there may be aspects of Izabel’s relationship with her husband that you find upsetting. However, JB has done a brilliant job of showing sensitivity and care around the traumatic subject of domestic abuse.

I could don’t put this book down. If you are looking for a steamy, unusual romance that is gritty and thought provoking then this is the one for you. JB is currently working on the sequel and I will be elbowing my way to the front of the line for a copy.

For more information about the book, where to get a copy and some amazing cocktail recipes visit JB’s website, you can also watch my video review of this book if you fancy.

Thanks for popping by.
